The econometric approach for economic analysis is currently growing very rapidly, especially modern econometrics for program evaluation or impact evaluation. There have been many changes to the conventional approach to producing a more precise analysis. In 2021, the Master of Economics Study Program held a discussion with the theme “Causal Inference in Economic Research”, as the introduction to further discussion of the application of modern econometrics which is currently growing rapidly.

For this reason, in 2022, the discussion on the application of the econometric approach is continued with deeper and broader coverage entitled “Modern Econometric Approach for Program Evaluation or Impact Evaluation”. The aim is to improve a more competitive academic climate within the academic community, especially the Faculty of Economics and Business. This series program is also expected to be able to facilitate students in expanding their mastery of economic research methodologies, especially in responding to the latest scientific development.

This training will be held in a series of six meetings, starting on the fourth week of October 2022, at 15.00 – 17.30 WIB. The activities are held every Thursday.

The speaker in this training is Sandy Juli Maulana, S.E., MPP, – an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the undergraduate level, and alumnus of the Master of Public Policy Program at Hitotsubashi University, Japan.
