The Diponegoro University Masters Committee in Economics (MIE) held a Scientific Discussion on May 3, 2021 which was filled by William Adam (MIE 25 Student) with the theme Spillover Analysis and Spatial Linkages in the Purwomanggung Strategic Area Based on Base Sector
In his research, he focuses on researching the 3 largest sectors, namely Agriculture, Manufacturing Industry and Trade and uses LQ, DLQ and Klassen Typology analysis which focuses on seeing the base sector and Moran’s I calculations in analyzing spatial dependence between districts / cities. What is interesting is the finding of insignificant spatial linkages between districts / cities in Purwomanggung in the manufacturing and trade sectors. This shows that it is still not optimal in developing the area.
