BPS has released Indonesia’s poverty rate for the March 2021 period. The percentage of poor people in March 2021 was 10.14%, decreased 0.05% compared to September 2020 (10.19%) and increased 0.36 percent compared to March 2020 (9.78% ). The number of poor people in March 2021 was 27.54 million people, a decrease of 0.01 million people from September 2020 (27.55 million people) and an increase of 1.12 million people compared to March 2020 (26.42 million people). By region, urban poverty in March 2021 was 7.89%, up from 7.88% in September 2020. Meanwhile, rural poverty decreased from 13.20% to 13.10% in the same period. Meanwhile, the Poverty Line (GK) in March 2021 was recorded at Rp. 472,525 per capita/month. Food GK still dominates (73.96%) compared to non-food GK (26.04%). For household GK in March 2021, it was recorded at Rp. 2.12 million per poor RT/month, with an average number of RT members of 4.49 people.
