A thesis is a mandatory requirement for graduation for master program students. In the 2020 Merdeka Campus Curriculum, the thesis load is equivalent to 12 credits for the Masters in Economics by Course and 6 credits for the Masters in Economics by Research program. Some important things that need to be considered in the thesis preparation process are:
Thesis Advisor
The thesis supervisor is determined in Semester 2 for the Masters Program in Economics by Course and in Semester 1 for the Masters Program in Economics by Research, according to the scientific interests of students by considering the load (load) of each lecturer. Supervisors are determined early to provide opportunities for students to discuss with their supervisors in developing their research ideas or ideas. The number of supervisors is 1 person.

Information:
- The thesis preparation process can be started when the supervisor is determined in Semester 2, even though he only took the Thesis course in Semester 4.
